SHARES ended marginally higher yesterday after an uneventful session. The FTSE 100 closed up 46.4 at 6348.6 in thin turnover. Traders said blue- chips benefitted from a strong opening on Wall Street and growing hopes of peace settlement in Kosovo. They warned that the recent strength could be reversed if today's employment figures in the US fuel fears of a rate hike there. The undercard lacked direction and the FTSE 250 closed 10.6 higher at 5719.6, while the Small Cap was 4.3 up at 2552.1.
