ALSTOM, the Anglo French engineering group, is this week expected to announce that it is selling a large part of its industrial division in a deal that which could eventually fetch up to pounds 500m.
Alstom is expected to use the occasion of its annual results on Wednesday to announce that it is putting businesses with annual sales of pounds 530m up for sale. The businesses make up almost half of Alstom's industrial division.
