The New York Stock Exchange last night fined Nomura Securities International $1m for alleged violations of its rules. The exchange said Nomura consented to the findings without admitting or denying guilt. Alleged infractions included filing of inaccurate reports and failure to maintain minimum net capital at the required level. Nomura said the action concerned "technical violations" which did not involve any customers.
