Bosnian Serbs given Igman ultimatum

The co-chairmen of the Geneva peace talks have given the Bosnian Serbs until mid-morning today to withdraw all forces from Mount Igman above Sarajevo. Serbian forces were reported to be leaving the mountain yesterday as the US issued a new warning that occupation of Mount Igman and Mount Bjelasnica could trigger Nato air strikes.

The co-chairmen of the Geneva peace talks have given the Bosnian Serbs until mid-morning today to withdraw all forces from Mount Igman above Sarajevo. Lord Owen and Thorvald Stoltenberg said that any withdrawal must satisfy United Nations monitors. Serbian forces were seen leaving the mountain yesterday.
