US mediator Richard Holbrooke, "daunted by the thicket of issues on the negotiating table", left Sarajevo last night and headed for Belgrade and Zagreb for further talks on ceasefire terms. Meanwhile, Bosnian government forces launched a fresh offensive, advancing towards the town of Mrkonjic Grad.
