Animal sanctuary owner is jailed

THE FORMER owner of an animal sanctuary was jailed for two months and banned from keeping creatures for life after 140 carcasses were found on her property. Ann Stott, 57, was convicted of 24 charges of causing unnecessary suffering to animals. She had pleaded guilty.
