Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

The Debenhams summer sale started last week with half price discounts on thousands of items in store and online. The best selling items so far seem to be in the childrenswear and children's toys departments, although there are plenty of items that'll interest mum and dad too. Better still, there's free delivery and returns on everything in the UK and fairly low international delivery rates too. There's no end date for the sale yet but stocks are likely to disappear fast, so be quick.

Happy Mondays

Looking for a great deal on outdoor gear? Check out the Happy Monday deal from Ellis Brigham. Every Monday, a product will be offered for 24 hours only at a specially discounted rate. Previous offers have included a men's Mountain Equipment Morpheus GTX Pro Jacket with a £110, 50 per cent off saving and a North Face Tadpole 23 tent at £40 off. Sign up to Ellis Brigham's Facebook page to keep track of the offers or visit Ellis-brigham.com to make a purchase.

Love match

The dating website Lovestruck.com has teamed up with Time Out magazine to produce a fantastic free subscription offer. All new members of Lovestruck.com will be entitled to a completely free, 12-month subscription to Time Out; that's 51 issues working out at a saving of £165. No excuses for not keeping your new partner entertained on those early dates now.

Vouchers at Boden

There's a neat little trick to bolster savings at Boden at the moment. The women's fashion retailer is officially running 20 per cent off all women's footwear, maternity wear and baby clothes but the savings can also be combined with a separate voucher code and free delivery offer. Enter the code NC15 while purchasing your 20 per cent off item and you'll receive a further 15 per cent discount.
