With just a few weeks to go until the new term starts, Clarks is offering girls' and boys' shoes from £30. If you shop via cashback site Quidco.com you can get up to 10 per cent cashback on your purchases.

If you need school uniform too, you can kit your kids out from as little as £7.25 from F&F at Tesco (tesco.com), both in store and online. Be aware, stock is limited on certain items.

Argos (argos.com) has hundreds of back to school deals including 25 per cent off lunch boxes and half-price school bags. Fly to the US for under £300

Iceland's low-cost airline WOW air is offering some great value fares from London Gatwick to Boston and Washington DC this autumn.
