Bargain Hunter: Save your skinny dip until Boxing Day
Wait until the day after Christmas, we've spotted some good offersa lready, from Levi's trousers to flights to Stockholm

The Boxing Day sales should produce decent bargains as shops clear out Christmas stock. Seasoned Bargain Hunters know it’s the best time to buy cheap cards, wrapping paper and even gifts for next year – if they can be that organised.
Most retailers were keeping their deals under wraps as we went to press, but our eye was caught by Sports Direct’s offer of a pair of men’s Levi’s 4511 skinny chinos for £18. The chain claims that is a saving of 76 per cent off the normal £74.99 cost of the chinos, but, as we went to press, they were on sale at the store for £29.99, meaning you can actually save just over a third by waiting until Boxing Day.
Cheap way to get techno fit
If you’re thinking about how you’re going to get fit after all the seasonal excess, Sweatshop.co.uk has cut £50 off the price of the TomTom Runner Cardio GPS Watch. It’s £99.99, down from £149.99.
Cash in on chips
Manomasa tortilla chips are on promotion at Ocado until 29 December at just £1 each instead of £1.85.
Hotel rooms discounted
Mercure is offering up to 30 per cent off winter stays at its hotels in the UK and Ireland, with a further 10 per cent saving for those booking directly online at Mercure.com.
Take wing in Scandinavia
You’ll find the best flight deals in Scandinavian countries, reckons Skyscanner.net. It says prices have fallen by 39 per cent in Denmark since 2013, 31 per cent in Norway and 26 per cent in Sweden.
Six of the best
The winner of last week’s competition to win a case of six bottles of Lanson Black Label Brut NV was John Hitcham of Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex. He correctly answered the question: how many bottles does a rehoboam contain? The answer? Six.
