Bargain Hunter: £2 gets kid's meal voucher, plus two meals for a vulnerable child
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Join the "Give Get Win!" campaign by 20 December and you could help spread Christmas cheer among vulnerable children as well as being entered into a weekly prize draw. The campaign, by kids' meal company Little Dish, aims to support the work of Kids Company, which gives practical, emotional and educational support to inner-city children.
The company – founded by mother-of-two Hillary Graves – asks for a minimum donation of £2, and every £2 pledged will pay for two hot meals for a vulnerable child at one of Kids Company's centres.
Those who donate will receive the equivalent value in coupons for a Little Dish purchase, from its range of 10 healthy, natural meals for one to three-year-olds, such as chicken & butternut squash pie, spaghetti & meatballs and fish pie. You will also be entered into a weekly draw for a selection of fun family prizes.

Apple iPhones on the way to competition winners
We had a tremendous response to our Vouchercodes competition to win two of the latest Apple iPhones. Some 11,000 entries were received by last Saturday's deadline.
To be in with a chance of winning, readers had to answer the following question: In her hit single "Price Tag", Jessie J sang, "We don't need your money, money, money, We just wanna make the world ..." what?
Most of you got the answer "dance", although there were a fair number of confused readers who decided the answer must be "sing".
The winners, who should receive the new green iPhone 5Cs – worth £469 each – in the next few weeks, were Sophie Higgs of Oxford, and Elen Pibott of Devizes. Well done to the winners and thanks to all the entrants.
