ABBEY NATIONAL is offering an annual travel insurance policy to its current account and high interest cheque account customers at pounds 125 per family or pounds 89 for an individual policy.

Details are being sent out with February statements. The policy will provide cover for an unlimited number of trips abroad, but each trip is limited to a maximum of 31 days. The policy is only available by direct mail and not through the branches.
