Good morning and welcome to today's Independent transfer live blog.
The winter transfer window is now just around the corner with some of world football's biggest names possibly on the move.
Neymar smashed the world transfer record by swapping Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer but with money seemingly to burn January could be the biggest ever with many closer to home possibly following the Brazilian in making multi-million pound moves.

We start this morning with the news that Manchester United are interested in bringing Jonny Evans back to Old Trafford, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The West Brom defender was the subject of much speculation in the summer and was strongly linked with a move to their cross-city rivals at the Etihad Stadium but the transfer never got off the ground – I wonder if he's regretting that now. It would be a major blow to Alan Pardew, the recently installed manager at the Hawthorns who is struggling to pick up results, but with Manchester City and Arsenal also rumoured to be interested the Northern Ireland international, it is looking increasingly difficult for West Brom to keep hold of one of their key players.
Juventus now appear willing to let their highly-rated left-back Alex Sandro leave for Chelsea, according to the Sunday Express.
Antonio Conte has long been interested in signing the Brazilian all-action defender, who can also play as a wing-back, to add competition for Marcos Alonso. However, he is hot property and both the Manchester clubs as well as Paris Saint-Germain are reported to be closely following the situation.
Alex Sandro, right, is highly sought after
Over toLiverpool, and there is plenty of news on the Anfield club today.
Daniel Sturridge could be on his way out on loan in January in a bid to reboot his England career ahead of the 2018 World Cup, Jurgen Klopp has ruled out bringing Naby Keita in any sooner than next season, and the manager has admitted he was concerned Mohamed Salah would not be able to adapt to the physicality of the Premier League before the Egyptian's signing. Those doubts won't have lingered too long. Liverpool head to Bournemouth today looking to kickstart their Christmas period after two draws on the spin.
Alexis Sanchez was one of the stories of the summer and if reports are to be believed, the Arsenal winger will be making plenty of headlines during January too.
According to Sky Sports News, Pep Guardiola has refused to rule out an approach for the player who seems to have gone completely off the boil in recent weeks, and with his contract set to run out next summer Arsenal may feel now is the time to cash in.
Wayne Rooney has said Olivier Giroud would be the perfect fit for Everton, as the Sun reports.
“I think we could do with another striker in," he said. “The one player for me who has to start is Olivier Giroud. He scores goals and every time he comes on he scores, he’s a handful and hard to play against.”
Rooney came to blows with Giroud in his time at Manchester United
