Zoe Kravitz sends fans into a frenzy over throwback photo with Britney Spears
‘This is important,’ actor describes photo
Zoë Kravitz has caused a stir on social media after posting a photograph on Instagram of herself with Britney Spears from the year 2000.
On Monday, the Big Little Lies actor shared a photograph of herself and the singer – who are just seven years apart in age – cuddled up together on what appears to be the set of Spears’ cover shoot for her second studio album Oops!...I Did It Again.
“This is important,” the newlywed actor captioned the snap, much to the delight of her fans.
Following the post, several of the 30-year-old’s 4.7 million followers commented on the photograph, describing the pair as “icons”.
“I can’t believe you have kept this from me for all the years we have known each other...WOW,” wrote fashion designer Alexander Wang.

Show all 13“Extremely,” added the actor’s father, singer Lenny Kravitz, in reference to his daughter claiming the photograph to be “important”.
“So important,” wrote the actor’s Big Little Lies co-star Shailene Woodley, while another one of the show’s stars, Laura Dern, wrote: “Crucial.”
The throwback image comes over a year since Kravitz posted an image of her father and Spears together from what appears to be the same cover shoot, if the "Baby One More Time" singer's brown top in both photos is anything to go by.
“This is important,” the actor captioned the photo, which she posted in July 2018.
While Spears is yet to comment on the photos, she previously described Lenny as “a legend” during an interview with Reuters in 2016.
“I would love to work with Lenny Kravitz,” the mother-of-two told the publication. “I think he’s great.”
Last month, Zoë married actor Karl Glusman in a star-studded ceremony at her father’s home in Paris.
Guests included actors Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, Marisa Tomei and Cara Delevingne.
