During the game, the car company released an advert titled “Audi Presents: Cashew” which sees a grandfather and grandson reunite in the countryside.
The commercial has been praised by fans on Twitter for its odd yet humorous narrative.
“We have a winner #Audi,” wrote one user.
Another added: “So far, the #audi commercial has been the only commercial I’ve liked tonight.”
“Me at work daydreaming about my dream car! Best commercial hands down!” tweeted one fan.
Others described the advert as “lol-worthy” and “the best of the bunch so far”.
At the beginning of the clip, the grandson can be seen walking through a field of wheat before greeting his relative.
“Welcome home! What are you waiting for?” the grandfather asks his descendant before unveiling a brand new electric-powered car.
Moments after turning on the car engine, however, the grandson begins choking.
Unfortunately for the car lover, his encounter with his grandfather turns out to be a dream as he soon finds himself choking on a cashew as a co-worker performs a chest thrust to save his life.
The advert ends with a line from the company announcing that one third of all new Audi models will be electrified by 2025.
