Scott Disick has left a rehab facility less than a week after a photo of him checking in was leaked to the press.

The Keeping up with the Kardashians star checked into All Points North Lodge in Edwards, Colorado on Tuesday.

Disick’s lawyer, Marty Singer, confirmed in a statement to TMZ that Disick has now checked himself out of the facility and is returning home immediately.

Singer said Disick, 36, had gone to the facility in order to seek help with grief following the deaths of his parents.

The reality TV star denied reports that he had gone to the rehab facility to overcome substance abuse issues.

Singer said: “In an effort to finally come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother, followed by the death of his father 3 months later, Scott made the decision to check himself into a rehab facility last week to work on his past traumas.”

Scott's mother died in 2013, followed shortly after by the death of his father.

The news comes after Disick’s girlfriend, model Sofia Richie, 21, commented on their relationship in a rare interview with Cosmopolitan.

Disick, who has three children with his ex-partner, Kourtney Kardashian, and Richie have a 15-year age gap that has drawn criticism.

When asked about the criticism she and Disick have received since news of their partnership emerged, Richie explained that it’s water off a duck’s back, saying she has “this weird thing where I just don’t care what people think”.

Richie added that judgemental commentary “doesn’t bother me because I’m very happy”.
