Paris Hilton has defended her baby Phoenix’s appearance amid ongoing comments about the size of his head.

The former reality TV star first sparked reactions to the size of her nine-month-old son’s head after she posted a picture of the two of them from their first trip together to New York City. However, internet users became fixated on Phoenix’s seemingly large head and took to Hilton’s comment section to voice their opinions.

One commenter joked “y’all he’s just got a lot on his mind leave the kid alone,” while another speculated whether or not Phoenix’s large head was a result of a medical condition.

Some commenters compared the infant to Family Guy’s Stewie, a character famously known for being a baby with a large head.

The comments led a TikTok user to post a video in defense of the hotel heiress’s son, saying: “I think Phoenix is adorable... You know he just has a big head because he has a small body and he’s gonna grow into it. And I also wanna bet that he’s a much cuter baby than most of these people in the comments were when they were babies... Leave Phoenix alone.”

“There are some sick people in this world,” Hilton herself wrote in the comment section. “My angel is perfectly healthy.” The mogul added, “And yes, of course he has been to a doctor, he just has a large brain.”

Beneath the TikTok video, many parents expressed their support for Hilton and her infant. One mother commented that Phoenix was a “lollypop baby,” adding: “Big head little body. My son is the same way and it’s so cute.”

“My son’s head was an enormous pumpkin,” someone else wrote. “People always commented on it. He was fine.”

The hotel heiress welcomed her son with her husband Carter Reum in January via surrogate. At the time, she told People: “It’s always been my dream to be a mother, and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other. We are so excited to start our family together, and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”

Hilton has posted few photos of her infant son, but celebrated him at six months old with an Instagram carousel captioned: “My baby boy Phoenix is six months old today. He is my world and makes my life feel so complete. Can’t wait for all the magical memories we will create together! Mommy loves you so much angel baby.”

In February, Hilton revealed to Glamour UK that she was excited to have another child. She told the outlet: “Carter and I had already been talking about the future, and then the world was shut down, so I was like: ‘What do you think about us making embryos?’ He said: ‘Yeah, let’s do it.’”

Since starting their surrogacy journey during the Covid lockdown, Hilton revealed that they had successfully frozen 20 embryos, all of which turned out to be boys.

“We’ve done it seven times,” Hilton admitted. “I have all boys. I have 20 boys … I just went through the process again a month ago, so I’m waiting for the results to see if there’s any girls.”
