Rachel Whiteread: an apology

LAST Sunday's Opinions column included a quote from a Mr John Sharland about the construction of the sculpture 'House' by Rachel Whiteread. We now understand that Mr Sharland was not the foreman of the house's construction as was stated, had no involvement with the realisation of the work at any stage and had never met the artist. We regret the distress which this has caused Rachel Whiteread, Artangel and the contractors involved in the work.
