Open Eye: Now you can own the pick of `Punch'
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. The contemporary cartoons from Punch - which were featured in last month's edition of Open Eye - would make an ideal gift for any OU graduate or student.
The cartoons originally appeared in 1969 when "the University of the Air" was very much a mystery and even a source of fun for the great Punch artists of the day, who clearly could not foresee the impact the OU would have on University Challenge!
Each 10x8 copy costs pounds 19.99, (or pounds 50 for all three) including Vat, postage and packing.
Rather than provide - and worry about the cost and safety of posting - frames that might not suit your decor, the cartoons come without frames or mountings.
To order, simply call 0171 225 6710 and quote the appropriate reference.
Please mention Open Eye, and identify the cartoon with the title: "A- levels", which featured on the cover of last month's Eye, and "University Challenge", or "Watching TV".
Each purchase price includes a donation to the OU Foundation. Although orders will be dealt with as quickly as possible, please don't forget Christmas postage delays, and allow up to 28 days for delivery.
