Thirty vehicles, including a police car and a tractor, will be used in the annual cart marking ceremony performed by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of London at Guildhall Yard today. The event, organised by the Worshipful Company of Carmen, commemorates the Corporation of London's ancient right of licensing all people working carts for hire in the city.
