Kia has released the first official photos of its second-generation Sportage SUV. The new car will be launched at the Geneva Motor Show next month and go on sale in the UK later this year.
Kia is extending and renewing its range at a remarkable rate. In the last year, it has introduced two completely new model lines, the Soul and Venga people carriers, and introduced a completely new version of its large Sorento 4x4. A series of improvements and styling changes were also made to the Golf-sized cee'd. The latest Sportage is a much sleeker looking affair than the outgoing model, and if Kia's rapidly improving form is anything to go by, it should be better to drive, as well. The new car will be available with a choice of petrol and diesel engines and the company says that a longer wheelbase should make for better ride comfort as well.
