Ferrari has been forced to recall 1,200 of its supercars after reports emerged suggesting that a number of them had overheated and caught fire.
The problem with the £170,000 458 Italia model, Ferrari said, was traced to an adhesive used in the wheel-arch. The company first discovered the problem last month when five owners reported fires in their vehicles.
All of those owners will have their cars replaced, Ferrari said, while others will have their cars modified to solve the problem.
