Your support makes all the difference.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary with a montage of never-before-seen photos from their special day.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared the 14-photo slide show on the official Sussex Royal Instagram, to the sound of “This Little Light of Mine”, which was played during the couple’s recessional.
“Happy one year anniversary to Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex!” the Instagram caption reads. “We hope you enjoy reliving this moment, and seeing some behind the scenes photos from this special day.”
The post, which has since been viewed more than 3m times, concluded with a message of thanks from the couple, who said: “Thank you for all of the love and support from so many of you around the world. Each of you made this day even more meaningful.”
The couple, who welcomed their newborn son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor earlier this month, exchanged vows at St George’s Chapel on 19 May, 2018.
The photos the couple decided to share from the special day include black-and-white pictures taken by Chris Allerton of Prince Harry and Prince William on their way to the wedding, as well as pictures of Meghan standing with her mother Doria Ragland.
In one photo, Prince Harry’s father Prince Charles gets ready to walk Meghan down the aisle, while another colour photo sees the smiling couple surrounded by their wedding party.
The video ends with the message: “Thank you for making the memory of this day so special.”
