WIN a bouquet of two dozen red roses!
Celebrating Colgate’s support of the Red for Heart campaign this February and to guard against a broken heart this Valentine’s Day
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.A lack of romance on Valentine’s Day can lead to heartbreak, but that’s not the only thing that can stop your heart in its tracks. February is National Heart Month, and it’s your chance to take a stand against the UK’s biggest killer. You may be surprised to learn that every year, heart and circulatory disease accounts for more than a third of all deaths. This year Colgate is supporting the British Heart Foundation (BHF) Red for Heart campaign by donating 10p for every one of their products purchased at Boots from 27th January until 23rd February. By getting involved in the campaign you can help generate up to £100,000 in donations for the BHF.
There’s nothing more important than your health and yet it’s something that many people take for granted. That’s especially true when it comes to your oral health. Healthy teeth and gums are an essential part of your overall well being, so as well as maintaining a healthy weight, moderating your alcohol intake, exercising and not smoking, take time to consider oral health as part of your overall health regime.
