Florence Pugh has wished her boyfriend, actor Zach Braff, happy birthday in an Instagram post, marking the first time the Little Women star has acknowledged the relationship on Instagram.
On Monday, the British actor shared a candid photograph of Braff sleeping on a sofa alongside a dog.
“Today we shall smile wider than the clouds are grey,” Pugh wrote in the caption below.
“April 6th and we’re celebrating hard! Happy Birthday wishes, boogies and cheers for this special person.
“Raise those bubbles and jiggle!”
Comments for the post have been removed, but it has already garnered more than 250,000 likes.
Pugh's post comes after her relationship with Braff has prompted criticism among people taking issue with their age gap – he is 45 while she is 24.
In December, the actor commented on the age gap.
Braff had left a crown emoji beneath one of Pugh's Instagram posts, prompting one person to comment: "You're 44 years old."
Pugh replied simply: "and yet he got it👌🏽".
Neither Braff nor Pugh have spoken about their relationship in interviews, though they have been regularly photographed out in public together since April 2019.
