Brooklyn Beckham has confirmed his engagement to fiancée Nicola Peltz.

On Saturday, the 21-year-old announced the news by sharing a photo of himself and Nicola on Instagram.

In the image, which was taken by Brooklyn’s younger sister, Harper, the aspiring photographer can be seen wearing a blue suit while looking lovingly at his new fiancée, who is dressed in a long, yellow dress and holding Brooklyn’s face.

“Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes,” he wrote in the caption.

“I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby xx.”

Nicola also shared the same photo with her 1.6million followers as she gushed over her fiancé in the caption.

“You’ve made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life by your side,” the Bates Motel star wrote.

“Your love is the most precious gift. I love you so, so much baby and thank you Harper for this pic.”

Underneath her post, Brooklyn commented: “My girl forever. I love you more than anything.”

Brooklyn’s post has since been liked more than 600,000 times and flooded with messages from the couple’s celebrity friends, including Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton, who wrote: “Congratulations bro” followed by a fist bump emoji.

Australian singer Cody Simpson, added: “Congratulations my brother. So happy for you! Wishing you two a lifetime of happiness.”

Just moments after the announcement Brooklyn’s mother, Victoria Beckham, shared the same photo to her own Instagram account to offer the couple her congratulations.

“The MOST exciting news!! We could not be happier that Brooklyn and Nicola are getting married!” Victoria wrote.

“Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness. We all love you both so much.”

The couple have been in a relationship for around nine months and recently returned to the UK after spending lockdown together in New York.

Brooklyn’s previous girlfriends include model Hana Cross and actor Chloë Grace Moretz.
