From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference."Lots of stamina" and blindfolding have reportedly been revealed as the biggest turn-ons for users of the hacked adultery website Ashley Madison.
As well as names and email addresses, the cyber attack has exposed data of its 37 million users' deepest sexual fantasies, revealing the most popular fetishes among its members, according to MailOnline.
When users join the ‘anonymous’ dating website targeted at people seeking extramarital affairs, they are asked to fill out a numbered “takeaway-style” menu of what they are “looking for”, describing what “turns me on”.
Along with having “lots of stamina” and being open to blindfolding, users can reveal their preferred fantasies, such as: erotic tickling (number 35), light, kinky fun (number 40) and experimenting with tantric sex (number 21).
The more adventurous can opt for number 23, “experimenting with sex toys” or 32, “dressing up/lingerie”.
But users looking for romance can also request a bubble bath for two (28) and cuddling and hugging (29).
A second section then asks users to describe what they are ‘open to’, including ‘Don Juan’ (number one), ‘Boy Next Door’ (47) and ‘Bad Boy’ (36). They can also request a ‘Sugar Daddy’ or ‘Sugar Baby’.
Users can then detail what they want the other person to look like physically, from tattoos and body piercings to how tall they are or how long their hair is.
London has the 9th highest number of registered Ashley Madison accounts, with São Paulo, New York and Sydney taking the top three spots respectively.
