On Tuesday, the makeup mogul posted multiple photos of the toddler to Instagram, where she can be seen wearing customised gold hoops with her name emblazoned on them.
“Go best friend,” Jenner captioned the photos.
However, while some praised the pictures, some criticised the social media star for allowing her daughter to wear the hoops.
“Hoop earrings for a two year old? Seriously?” one person commented.
Another said: “Why is this two year old wearing hoops like that? Jeez let them be little girls.”
Others expressed concern that the hoops would be too heavy for Webster’s ears, or would get caught on something and result in ripped earlobes.
“Her earlobe is gonna be ripped by the time she’s five years old,” one person wrote, while someone else said: “Those earrings are SO dangerous on a child! Someone or something will get caught and rip her earlobe!”
The mum-shaming prompted Jenner’s followers to come to her defence, with one person writing: “She can dress her anyway she wants to because that’s HER daughter not yours.”
“These comments about the earrings, her clothes, everything!” another person wrote. “It’s not your kid, so it’s not your business!”
The two-year-old also appeared to be a fan of the hoops, with a video posted by Jenner showing her daughter shout "No!" when she was asked to hand over the earrings.
This is not the first time Jenner has faced questioning about her parenting from mum-shamers. Earlier this month, people accused the star of not spending enough time with her daughter after Jenner posted an Instagram video in which Webster can be seen calling her “Kylie” and refusing to call her “Mom”.
