Kourtney Kardashian has revealed she attends “double sessions” of therapy while opening up about her methods of dealing with anxiety.

In a cover interview for Health, the reality star, who has discussed her struggles with anxiety in the past, said: “For the past three years I’ve been going to therapy.

“Once a week I got to a double session. I look forward to it every week! Having that awareness, I find that I can almost catch things before they become a bigger deal.”

According to Kardashian, when she does encounter harder moments, therapy has taught her to ask herself: “What’s the lesson that I’m supposed to be learning?”

In addition to therapy, the 40-year-old said she also relies on exercise, religious services and being social to keep her anxiety in control.

“My workouts are key, too,” she explained. “And I go to church once a week, if I can. I go with friends, and we go to dinner afterward. I’m such a homebody; it’s important for me to force myself to do something social!”

During the interview, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star discussed her relationship with social media as well, and how setting boundaries about how much time she spends on it makes her feel better.

According to Kardashian, she keeps herself off her phone by putting it in the bathroom at night, and sets time limits for her three children.

As for her decision to cut back on the amount of time she dedicates to being filmed for TV, the Poosh founder said she prioritises a schedule because it makes her more available to her kids to be mum.

“And I want to be in charge of my time and schedule in order to do the things that are bringing me happiness,” she said.

In July 2019, Kardashian revealed her 40th birthday was giving her anxiety because it "almost makes you analyse, like, where you're at in your life".

“It, like, gives me anxiety and I don’t know why," she said during an episode of the family's reality show. "I have so much and I should just be so happy."
