Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak-Biermann is being criticised on Instagram over accusations she “photoshopped” a picture of her four-year-old daughter Kaia to make her bottom appear larger.
The mum has also been accused of editing her daughter’s nose to make it look smaller, after people noticed two versions of the photo uploaded to Instagram appeared different.
The alleged variations were originally pointed out by the Instagram account thegoodthebadandthefake - which captioned a side-by-side of the photos with: “This is sick! Kim Zolciak-Biermann photoshopped her four-year-old daughter to make her butt look bigger and her nose to look smaller.”
The post compared the photo of Kaia and her twin Kane uploaded by their mum to a similar picture uploaded by Zolciak-Biermann’s older daughter Brielle - and circled the differences.
To further attempt to prove the claim, the account, which is dedicated to “calling out all the celebrity BS,” uploaded close-up pictures of the alleged edits.
“It’s not taken from a different angle, it’s not a filter, it’s the same exact image just photoshopped,” the person who runs the account wrote.
Following the allegations, fans and followers of the Real Housewife star commented on her photo asking if why she thought it was necessary to edit her four-year-old daughter.
“She is a beautiful little girl just the way she is. It’s disturbing to see what you altered in this photo vs the original. What kind of message are you trying to send? It’s very concerning behaviour,” one person wrote.
Another said: “You can see the bend in the wall from where you were EDITING a photo of your children who are perfect on their own. Your daughter is going to be so messed up in the head because of you. Poor thing."
Others were unsure whether the mum had altered the photo, but commented that the picture looked "slightly edited."
While Zolciak-Biermann has not responded to the allegations, she appeared to laugh them off with a tweet in which she wrote: “I think I’ve heard it all now!!” with laughing emojis.
The mum-of-six also denied that her daughter is wearing hair extensions in the photo, responding: “Oh my gosh no!” to someone's question.
Thegoodthebadandthefake has previously accused the 40-year-old reality star of photoshopping pictures of her children, with a picture uploaded on September 11 claiming to show editing differences on a photo of Zolciak-Biermann's daughter Ariana.
