Justin Bieber has shared a selfie from his therapy session on Instagram stories.

“Therapy session. It’s cool to have a healthy mind and healthy emotions,” he wrote in a caption over the image that shows the musician bearing a sullen expression while wearing a lilac hoodie and a baseball cap.

The Sorry singer has been outspoken about his mental health struggles in the past and recently revealed he'd be taking a break from music to focus on repairing some "deep-rooted issues".

“Music is very important to me but nothing comes before my family and my health,” Bieber added, explaining that he will return with a “kick a** album” as soon as possible.

Bieber also said he had been feeling “super disconnected and weird” in an Instagram post last month, adding that he’d been “struggling a lot”.

“I always bounce back so I’m not worried,” the 25-year-old singer wrote. “Just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me [sic].”
