Your support makes all the difference.Jessica Simpson has put her own spin on the 10-year challenge, which sees people post a photo of themselves from 2009 on social media alongside one from 2019.
Instead of doing a conventional before-and-after post, Simpson uploaded a photograph of herself from 2014 next to one of her swollen foot, an image that went viral when she first posted it on Thursday.
The singer is pregnant with her third child and posted the original snap of her foot in a bid to ask her fans if they had “any remedies” that could help ease the swelling that is common for women in their third trimester of pregnancy.
The photo garnered more than 114,000 likes and prompted a flurry of comments, some of which, like “have the baby”, were deeply unhelpful.
Others cruelly teased Simpson, comparing her to “big foot” on Twitter.
So, a day later Simpson decided to poke fun at the trolls with her very unique 10-year challenge post, which many fans labelled as the best one they’d seen.
“You just won the internet,” one person commented.
“Hope this beats that instagram egg post,” another added, in reference to the news that an image of an ordinary egg is now the most-liked photo on Instagram, with 48m likes.
So far, Simpson’s post has been liked more than 338,000 times.
