On Thursday, the actress shared a video of the “aggressive” tree her family received to Instagram, where she explained that she is “not sure” this is the tree her children picked.
“So I told my kids we could go bigger because we’re in a rental house and it has a really big foyer,” Garner says in the video. “But then it was delivered and I’m not sure this was the tree we picked out.”
The camera then zooms out to show Garner, who has three children with ex-husband Ben Affleck, standing next to the huge evergreen tree, which appears to be twice her height.
“It’s a little aggressive,” she adds while laughing.
In response to the video, which she captioned: “Go big or go home #aggressivechristmas,” other celebrities agreed with the Peppermint star’s assessment.
Reese Witherspoon commented: “Whoa!!” while designer Jeff Leatham said: “I am coming over to help decorate.”
The towering tree also prompted Katie Couric to comment on the “big tree energy”.
“OH EM GEE that tree has some serious BTE (big tree energy),” the anchor wrote.
