From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

On Tuesday 15 September, the Duke of Sussex celebrates his 36th birthday.

Several members of the royal family celebrate birthdays throughout spring and summer, including Prince George, who turned seven on 22 July, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, who turned one on 6 May, and the Queen, who turned 94 on 21 April.

As Prince Harry ventures into his late thirties, some may be reminiscing over what he and other members of the royal family looked like when they were children.

Prince Harry and Meghan speak for first time since birth of baby Archie

When a royal baby is born, there are certain traditions that the royal family follows.

These customs include having the announcement of the birth displayed on an easel in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace, announcing the baby's name several days after the birth and having the baby wear a special christening gown.

Archie Harrison, the son of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, is the most recent royal baby to have been born.
