Iggy Azalea has shared the first photos of her son Onyx.

It is the first time the rapper has revealed the child’s face after choosing to keep his identity private since he was born in April.

On Saturday, the 30-year-old shared two photos of herself holding the six-month-old. In one image, Azalea balances the baby on her hip while posing in a form-fitting black dress with a matching corset.

The second image shows her cradling Onyx in her arms as they both smile at the camera. Azalea captioned the image with an angel emoji.

Over the weekend, Azalea also announced that she had split from Playboi Carti, who is believed to be Onyx’s father.

Azalea hinted at the breakup in a series of cryptic messages shared on her Instagram story Friday.

“You lost a real 1,” she wrote in one message, adding in another, “People take loyalty for granted & that’s why I’d rather be alone.”

She later clarified the messages, writing: “What I meant last night was that I’m raising my son alone & I’m not in a relationship.”

Azalea and Carti met in 2018 while she was touring and they started dating shortly after.

In June 2019, Carti opened up about their relationship, revealing they met in 2018 while he was on tour before deciding to move in together that December.

“Once I started talking to her, I just cut off everybody,” he told Fader. “It was over with.”

Back in December, sources close to the couple reportedly confirmed that Azalea was six months pregnant, but gave no other further details surrounding the rapper’s pregnancy.

In June, the Australian rapper announced that she had a son and was trying to “keep his life private”, rather than a secret.

“I have a son. I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realise I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world,” she wrote on Instagram.

“I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret and I love him beyond words.”
