Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed how she got ready for the Golden Globes, which included being “squashed” by a massage therapist and using a gold Goop face vibrator.
Paltrow, who has attended many award ceremonies throughout her 30-year career, shared photographs and videos on her Instagram Story detailing what went into making sure she was red carpet ready for the 2020 Golden Globes.
Her day began by paying a visit to CorePower Yoga, a yoga studio company that has celebrity clientele including The Big Bang Theory actor Kaley Cuoco and dancer Julianne Hough.
In her second post, Paltrow shared a selfie of her being massaged, saying that she was “getting squashed” as she peered through the table’s face cradle.
After going out for lunch with her husband, Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk, Paltrow shared a video of a “cookie buffet” given to her by her stepson, saying that she “should wait” before digging in.
The 47-year-old then shared a video of herself receiving an “all natural home style face lift”, courtesy of a face vibrator by make-up artist Jillian Dempsey.
The gold face vibrator retails at £186 and is sold on Goop, Paltrow’s lifestyle website.
“Made with 24-karat gold, it uses subtle vibrations to make the face appear more sculpted; it feels amazing, like a firm massage,” according to Goop.
Paltrow attended the Golden Globes wearing a sheer, tan ensemble designed by Fendi, and jewellery by Bulgari.
The Oscar-winning actor presented the award fro Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture to Laura Dern for her performance in Marriage Story.
Paltrow was one of several Golden Globe attendees who shared her getting-ready ritual on social media.
Actor Naomi Watts shared a selfie of herself on Instagram, stating: “Right here right now... time to get in the make up chair!!”
Aquaman star Jason Momoa shared videos of himself getting styled in an ensemble that combined a Tom Ford jacket with a pair of Valentino trousers, expressing his excitement for his first time at the awards show.
