From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

On April 28 The Stew, Chicago Tribune's food, wine and dining blog, decided to post the world's 50 worst restaurants list in response to The World's 50 Best Restaurants list, announced on April 26. The list is filled with non-existent "worst" places to eat, but here is a list of the world's ten "worst-named" but attention-getting restaurants.

The Stew's fake post list nods at some popular and renowned restaurants with entries like #16 El Bully, #11 Grant Achatz Presents: Flavored Sound and #9 Le Jirque but the top ten list of the world's worst (or best, depending on your point of view) restaurant names was provided to Relaxnews by Doug Lansky, man behind The Titanic Awards and accomplished travel writer currently residing in Sweden and past columnist of The Vagabond, a Chicago Tribune humorous adventure travel column.

#1 Phat Phuc Noodle Bar, London, UK
#2 My Dung, California, USA
#3 Stomach Clinic Railways Restaurant, Nairobi, Kenya
#4 Vagina Tandoori Indian Cuisine, Dublin, Ireland
#5 Cumn Eat, UK
#6 The Golden Shower Restaurant, Tanzania
#7 Bung Hole, UK
#8 The Chocolate Log, India
#9 Chewy Balls, Texas, USA
#10 Soon Fatt Chinese Food, Ireland
