McDonald’s has answered the prayers of pancake pundits across the nation by allowing customers to buy its breakfast pancakes for the entire day.
On Shrove Tuesday – or Pancake Day, as it is otherwise known – people up and down the country celebrate by concocting all sorts of pancakes, from thin crêpes to the fluffy American variety.
For those who would rather pop into a fast food restaurant than whip up a pancake mix in the kitchen, McDonald’s may be their go-to solution.
On Tuesday 25 February, patrons can purchase pancakes at McDonald’s – which are usually only available on the breakfast menu – all day long for £2.29.
The serving comes with three pancakes and syrup.
What’s more, customers can get free delivery on all McDonald’s orders over £5 when they order on Uber Eats today, using the code “PANCAKESALLDAY” at checkout.
Several people expressed their excitement over the all-day pancakes at the fast food chain.
“McDonald’s serving pancakes all day tomorrow for Pancake Day has made my life,” one person tweeted yesterday.
“Gotta be the best good morning email from @McDonald’s saying they are serving #pancakes all day,” another wrote.
