Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. Two blonde foodies and professionally-trained chefs became obsessed with American-style cookies thanks to a trip to New York.
Chelsie Collins and Kristelle Levi loved its crisp edge, chewy all the way through and soft centre.
They also realised that there was nothing like this to the UK and so they decided to share the love and set up Blondies Kitchen and the rest is history.
Their pop-up milk and cookie bar took London by storm selling 10,000 cookies within a fortnight of trading.
The girls now have a permanent spot in London's iconic Selfridges and in this video, co-founder Chelsie, talks about Blondies Kitchen's delectable treats.
And just in time for the festive season, they have created a scrumptious treat - Mince Pie Cookie Cup. It's a hybrid of the Christmas favourite and a classic vanilla cookie.
There is also something for the little ones.
Their Christmas Eve Santa Set contains three mini milk chocolate chip cookies, one mince pie cookie cup, two baby organic carrots and a glass bottle of organic whole milk - something to fuel Santa and his pals!
The girls are always developing their products and so expect more yummy treats after Christmas.
