Don't Say You Haven't...

heard who's performing at the Leicester Comedy Festival? The midlands festival has been going for five years and has once again managed to attract some of comedy's big guns. Laughter commences tonight when David Baddiel opens the festival with a special performance at Leicester's De Montfort Hall and continues in over 30 venues across the county. Around 24,000 will see the likes of Jeremy Hardy, John Hegley, Mandy Knight, Graham Norton, Mark Little, Milton Jones and dozens of other stand-up acts. The Festival is also hosting the tenth anniversary celebrations of BBC 2's Red Dwarf series, with Hattie Hayridge, Norman Lovett and Craig Charles all showing their faces. The Reduced Shakespeare Company are making an appearance as are the wonderful Peepolykus. To 15 Feb For full details and a festival brochure, call 0891 100 702 (50p per min.)
