From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Vogue Paris threw arguably the biggest and best party of Paris Fashion Week on Saturday night in honour of the magazine's 95th anniversary.

Hosted by Vogue editor Emanuelle Alt, the party which was held in a suitably grand Parisian castle, smack bang in the middle of the presentation of spring/summer 2016 collections.

And the guestlist unsurprisingly saw the industry's key figures from designers to models and editors making an appearance.

Models in particular were present in force with the guestlist including the likes of Kendall Jenner, Gig Hadid, Doutzen Kroes, Lily Aldridge, Anna Cleveland and Coco Rocha.

Kanye West was on hand accompanied by mother-in-law Kris Jenner, Jared Leto also made an appearance.

Rihanna made an impact decked out in a flowing white gown by Christian Dior, demure it may appear at first glance but on closer observation trademark Rihanna raunch is present in the rather revealing sheer fabric.

Alt told Vogue.com:

"All I wanted to do tonight was have a big party. I've been to so many fashion events that were, oh no - so many boring fashion parties. Tonight is about fun, and friends, and dancing."
