From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Given the scale of the catwalk extravaganza that is the annual Victoria's Secret show, it's no surprise that following the main event is an equally glamorous after party.
It might have been exhausting work strutting down the catwalk in skimpy underwear complete with oversized wings but that didn't stop the show's stars heading out to celebrate the occasion.
The after party was held at Tao restaurant in New York and was decked out in the brand's signature bright pink colour palette.
It might be hard to imagine how an outfit can get skimpier than the looks paraded down the catwalk earlier, but some of the show's stars just about managed it with their subsequent choice of dress.
Gigi Hadid opted for a gravity defying dress with more parts cut-out than actually made up the dress.
Kendall Jenner went equally skimpy in a silver gown by Atelier Versace that came slashed to the navel and in a rather sheer fabric.
Other attendees included the show's high profile angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge and Candice Swanepoel.Musical guest performers Selena Gomez and Ellie Goulding were also in attendance.
