What to expect from Victoria Beckham’s second Estee Lauder collection
The highly anticipated collaboration is set to launch in September
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. When Victoria Beckham’s first collection with Estee Lauder hit the shelves in 2016, it did more than exceed expectations. It set the hearts of beauty lovers alight, reached cult status and sold out almost instantaneously.
It might come as no surprise then that the make-up collection is back for a second run and is reportedly about to double in size.
The range, which is set to launch in September, will keep 10 hero products from the first capsule and add 18 brand new ones, including two kits to its line up.
Just as the first was roughly organised into looks inspired by four cities – New York, London, Paris and LA – this new collection adds a fifth, Miami.
Fans of the already coveted collection will also be pleased to know that classic products, including the Morning Aura Illuminator and nude lip liner in Victoria will still be available.
With the second release looking set to sell out fast, we’ve rounded up our pick of the products you just have to snap up when they arrive.
Aura Gloss in Honey, £30
This multi-tasking gloss can be used on your lips or face to add an editorial shimmer to any look. Catching the light, it helps to define your features and create dimension. Wear yours on the cheekbones, bridge of the nose or lips for a shiny finish.
Eye Ink Mascara in Blackest, £36
A formula loaded with fibres – in fact, there’s never been another made within Estee Lauder Companies that packs as much – this mascara sets itself aside from most others by giving your lashes a fresh, spidery finish. The tiny brush and loose wiper means it layers up seamlessly with minimal effort.
Eye Matte Duo, £48
Available in three different shades, the new Eye Matte Duos were created to bring in new colours and shake the collection up. Aside from Saphir/Orange Vif, which was inspired by the Latin flavour of Miami coupled with Beckham’s OBE dress, you can also pick this set up in Bleu Electrique/Nude and Noir/Vanille.
Skin Perfecting Powder, £62
The first powder of the collection, Beckham set out to create a formula that really did manage to create perfectly clear skin. A product that took tonnes of development, it closes pores, smoothes out the entire face and can be applied throughout the day without looking too heavy.
The Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder collection will be available from September at Estee Lauder, Selfridges, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Net-a-Porter, Fenwick Newcastle, Brown Thomas, Victoria Beckham Dover Street and VictoriaBeckham.com
