Reese Witherspoon has revealed she kept her entire wardrobe from Legally Blonde, including 77 pairs of Jimmy Choo shoes.

Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, the 43-year-old actor explained she kept a few souvenirs from the set of the cult film, which came out in 2001.

“I kept the whole wardrobe including 77 pairs of Jimmy Choo shoes,” Witherspoon said, explaining it was a condition she insisted on prior to filming.

“I had it written in my contract! I didn’t touch them until the 15th anniversary and then had a lot of fun trying them on with my daughter.

"Some fit and some didn’t, but it was really cool."

Witherspoon appeared on the show alongside her Morning Show co-star, Jennifer Aniston, and Julie Andrews, both of whom were noticeably shocked by her confession.

But the actor argued that if she hadn't insisted on keeping the wardrobe and indeed the shoes, the items would've gone to waste.

"Otherwise they are just going to put them in a warehouse and then nobody knows where it all went," she added.

Andrews revealed she kept something from her wardrobe while starring in Mary Poppins.

“I kept the pretty pink buttoned up shoes that Mary wore when she walked out with Burt," she said. "They are now door stops filled with sand.”
