Oscars 2020: Hailey Bieber and Kim Kardashian among best-dressed stars at the Vanity Fair afterparty

Star-studded event hosting celebrities including Chrissy Teigen and Kylie Jenner

The 92nd Academy Awards might be the final ceremony of awards season but it was just the beginning of the plethora of show-stopping looks delivered by Hollywood’s biggest stars on Sunday night

Fresh off the Oscars 2020 red carpet, celebrities brought their A-game to the Vanity Fair afterparty, which is considered to be one of the most exclusive gatherings in the film industry.

While the Oscars is a more formal event, the Vanity Fair bash adopts a more laid-back approach meaning that while guests still pull out all the stops to look glitzy and glam, no colour, cut, or length is off-limits.

A number of stars including Beanie Feldstein and Timothee Chalamet stayed in the outfits they sported on the Oscars red carpet, but many made quick changes into entirely new looks.

Cynthia Erivo changed out of her white and silver Versace gown and stepped into a lilac satin ballgown that was covered in green sequins, while Charlize Theron swapped her elegant black Dior gown for a gold one-shoulder dress that featured six tiers of fringing.

As well as the usual crew of actors and producers, the Vanity Fair afterparty also attracts a host of new guests including plenty of supermodels and celebrity couples such as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.
