After Italian design brand Giorgio Armani released the new ads for its women's jeans and underwear ranges starring actress Megan Fox earlier this week, star soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo is now following suit for men's.
Armani was the first designer to hire a professional soccer player for his campaigns when David James starred in the ads back in 1996, and he has continued to do so with Andriy Shevchenko, Kaka and David Beckham in recent years.
Beckham had appeared for the last time in last season's campaign (together with wife Victoria) before announcing that he would focus on his own fashion line in the new year.
The new ads starring Ronaldo, who according to Armani has the "perfect body," will start appearing in the media and on international billboards from February.
