Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

This spring's new denim lines range from reimagined Victoria Beckham styles to Dior Homme pants (for girls) selling at over $1,000.

For high-end hipsters

Hudson Jeans, which recently made waves with its racy advertising campaign starring Mick Jagger's daughter Georgia, has announced a higher-end denim line for spring. According to Women's Wear Daily, the first collection will follow the themes of 'minimalist,' 'resurrection,' 'D.I.Y.' and 'subversion,' with silhouettes including skinny, baggy, high-waisted and flare. Prices will range from $100 to $450.

For luxe lovers

Dior Homme jeans, which have gained popularity among women, especially as a result of the 'boyfriend jean' trend, will become available in designated women's styles next spring. Part of the label's Petite Taille line, the range will consist of ultraskinny jeans with stretch elements for the perfect fit. The new collection will go on sale at international Dior Homme stores early this year, with jeans costing from $407 to $1,185.

For fans of the 'used look'

For Beckham bunnies

Even though fashion aficionados didn't like it at the beginning, Victoria Beckham is becoming a force to be reckoned with in fashion. Following her successful and critically acclaimed dress collection, the former Spice Girl will relaunch her denim line in spring, after the old range was dropped by retailers. The new styles, named simply Victoria Beckham Denim, will focus on cigarette silhouettes  and 'jeggings' with the occasional boyfriend jean and denim jacket. Prices start at $235.
