New fragrances for spring
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Women's
Thierry Mugler is all about the supernatural this spring, launching updates of its Angel (Angel Sunessence Edition Bleu Lagon, €58.50) and Alien (Alien Sunessence Edition Saphir Soleil, €55.49) fragrances.
Sephora has lined up new fragrance launches with Narciso Rodriguez (Essence, €52), Chloé (Eau de Parfum, €52.50), and Leslie Blodgett of Bare Escentuals (Perfume Diaries, €40) for this spring.
Lanvin will release an update of its Jeanne fragrance, Jeanne La Rose (€58), which will be "more romantic" and "more couture" than its predecessor, according to the brand, with notes of rose essence, rasperry and redcurrant, white musk, vetiver, and cedar wood.
New celebrity fragrances slated for spring include Eva by Eva Longoria (the Desperate Housewives' star's first signature scent), Sarah Jessica Parker's new perfume SJP NYC, which coincides with the upcoming premiere of her Sex and the City movie sequel, Kate Moss's Wild Meadow, and Céline Dion's Simply Chic.
Men's
Davidoff launches an update of its classic Cool Water in March (around €50): the limited-edition Cool Water Ice Fresh (also available for women) will come with notes of lime, mandarin, grapefruit, basil, sage and juniper berry.
Laura Biagotti is releasing Mistero di Roma Uomo (€39), a fragrance for the "mysterious man," the same month. Interestingly, it features some of the same citrus notes as the Davidoff fragrance (grapefruit, mandarin, but also bergamot, musk, juniper berry, amber, patchouli, cedar and sandalwood), hinting at a trend of citric scents for men this spring.
Biotherm is going for something more woodsy with Force (€60), its first men's fragrance, smelling of neroli oil, cardamom, and absinthe.
