This election is still a dead heat, according to most polls. In a fight with such wafer-thin margins, we need reporters on the ground talking to the people Trump and Harris are courting. Your support allows us to keep sending journalists to the story.
The Independent is trusted by 27 million Americans from across the entire political spectrum every month. Unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock you out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. But quality journalism must still be paid for.
Help us keep bring these critical stories to light. Your support makes all the difference.
Quail and Cartier have launched online stores, Cavalli blogs, Thierry Mugler celebrates womanhood, and Styleite reveals fashion insiders' real power.
Roberto Cavalli
The Italian designer has jumped on the social media bandwagon - joining the likes of Diane von Furstenberg - introducing an official blog, a Facebook page, and a Twitter account. A new website will premiere at the end of the month.

Quail
Hipster favorite Quail has launched a new website that comes with a blog, lookbooks, and of course an online shop. The spring collection consists of flirty tops, skirts and dresses in black, blue and grey and retails for prices starting from $126.
Thierry Mugler
The French fashion house has launched a community for women at womanity.com. Available in six languages, the site is meant to cover everything from shopping to parenting in articles, posts, videos, and forum discussions.
Styleite
A likely new fashion powerhouse, this site compares the influence of designers, fashion writers, and models based on their sales, circulations, bookings, or blog entries.
