The 2015 Grammy Awards take place on Sunday making it the ideal time to recap some of the weird and wonderful red carpet looks of the past few decades.

On Sunday music's finest stars will gather at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.

The event may celebrate the very best in music, but too often it's the red carpet choices of the award's attendees that have dominated the headlines.

Nearly six decades since the awards first launched, the Grammys has established itself as a showground for some seriously strange looks.

From Lady Gaga's arrival in an egg to Destiny's Child's coordinated cut-out outfits. Here is our roundup of the most memorable Grammy Awards red carpet looks:

Check back on Sunday 8th February for our coverage of the red carpet at the 2015 Grammy Awards.
