Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Beauty retailer Sephora has released three new product kits that not only make for a trick-or-treat-worthy look in no time but also solve all inspiration issues.
The products have been grouped into three different packs that come with three different costume options each.
One is for dolls, fairies and angels, complete with all the girly products you might need to achieve the look, including glitter spray and eyeliner as well as fake lashes.
Cleopatra would probably never have guessed it but she finds herself in a pack together with the Peacock and the Greek Goddess, a kit of eyeliners, glitter spray and candy colors.
And finally, there is the 'scary' assortment for vampires, witches and -- yes -- rock stars, including grey eye shadow, black nail polish, fake lashes and different glitters.
All kits retail for $19 (for products Sephora claims are worth a respective total of $65) and are available to North American customers.
For international shoppers and all those with a little more time on their hands, MAC Cosmetics have just released their annual spooky makeup tutorials. Visit youtube.com/maccosmetics to learn the secrets of creating looks such as that of the 'Deadly Dame,' 'Ace of Hearts,' or 'Madame Mask,' using the label's products.
